Embedded Linux Host Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and enterprising embedded host SW (Linux based) engineers. SW engineers will be responsible primarily for SW architecture/API definition/algorithm integration and GUI integration on MxL linux platform.

Key responsibilities will include

·         host SW architecture & API implementation for end-customer use-cases

·         Writing device drivers for USB, I2C and UART communication interfaces

·         Integration of critical performance code into host application

·         Debug/optimize host software algorithms to enhance performance & reduce power consumption of the system

·         Code optimization for min. stack usage

·         Interfacing with embedded SW to ensure end-end system operation

·         Testing code to ensure it is bug free, stable & production worthy

 

 

Applicant must be comfortable with quickly learning new technologies, have strong design and problem solving skills and must be a team player.

 

Requirements:

- +10 years of Linux experience (Kernel, usermode) preferably for wireless systems

- +7 years of firmware experience writing low level device drivers for USB, UART & I2C

- Strong C/C++ skills

- Strong debugging capabilities

- Familiarity with embedded SW development environments (ThreadX, Keil etc.)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
